My schedule fluctates but I hope to get up to your rink and play. Paid $230 to get all my gear sent over so I need to get my moneys worth. Primary position is goalie but I have been known to play forward when the whim strikes me.

Hopefully I can find your rink. Are you all playing this Friday?

Good comment Jim. I've always thought that, but I know I get caught up in it the same time. I wonder what could be done to help..

Ice will be about 15,000 per player (for two games).

If you're only playing one game we'll have to sort that out later.

Hey, ???

I know that our league games can be quite competitive and intense, however have they gotten too intense?
Has the league lost that 'fun for all levels and ages' element?
Looking at the individual statistics I noticed there are around 20 players in the league who have not played in all 8 games so far.
Now, I know that most are likely the result of reasons other than the 'fun factor', but...
The site's homepage states, " (DCIHL)... is a recreational ice hockey league for players of all levels, nationalities and ages."
Is it still? Food for thought...
If this league is to survive we need all the players we can get; and all should want to play and have fun doing so.

 Moose Games December 5/6, 2009!
« Result #7 on Nov 17, 2009, 1:29pm »

We will be playing Moose games on Saturday December 5th at 11:30pm and Sunday, December 6th at 7:30am.

The Moose will be taking on the Russia bound squad. That means Michael Jones, Kyle Cassily, Erich Ramirez and Blaine Jones will probably not be available for the game (playing for the other side). Eric and Kevin (is that right) are welcome to play. The Moose could probably use Goodman as well.

That'd be ok as long as that's what will attract a team to come down

Possible Ice Time For Moose Games
« Result #10 on Nov 11, 2009, 9:34pm »

We can get the ice after midnight on Saturdays and from 7-9am on Sunday mornings.

How would you guys feel about playing from midnight to 1am then back at 8am for another? Not much worse than the tourney in Seoul and that way we can invite a team up for two games instead of one. It will make it more worth their while.
